Boschendal Farm offers every family a Mother’s Day to remember with outings ranging from a casual and relaxed picnic on the spacious estate lawns, to brunch under the oaks at The Deli and farm-to-table dining at the Werf Restaurant or Rhone Homestead.
For a real treat, Executive Chef Christiaan Campbell will be offering his popular and unique shared dishes, inspired by our farm-style generosity, at the Werf Restaurant. A three course menu will be available, including a shared starter, shared main course and dessert, offering exceptional food, freshly produced from the farm. The seating is at 12h00 and will cost R550 per person. Make sure to mention that you’re treating mom when booking as we have a little surprise gift for each mom.
The Deli is offering both a Champagne Breakfast as well as a more casual yet flavourful lunch on Mother’s Day.
For friends and family who want to enjoy a relaxed outdoors setting beneath the trees, the Werf Picnics and Rhone Picnics offer gourmet picnic baskets packed with freshly prepared and wholesome food. Collect your basket from 12h00. Werf Picnics: Adults cost R360 for a picnic basket for 2, R195 for a picnic basket for 1 and kids under 12, R85. Rhone Picnics: R440 for a picnic basket for 2, R240 for a picnic basket for 1 and kids under 12, R85 at the Rhone Picnics.
An alternative for a more traditional lunch, is the Rhone Homestead where the cuisine is Cape Heritage and served buffet-style. Located next to the Cellar Door Tasting venue, makes a wine or bubbly tasting before lunch a wonderful way to celebrate this special day. The seating is at 12h00 and will cost R295 per person, kids under 10, R145.
