Boschendal Farm offers every family a Mother’s Day to remember with outings ranging from a casual and relaxed picnic on the spacious estate lawns, to brunch under the oaks at The Deli, to farm-to-table dining at The Werf Restaurant.
For a real treat, book lunch at the exquisitely refurbished Werf Restaurant where chef Christiaan Campbell’s focus is on presenting innovative country-style cuisine using the best of available local, seasonal and ethically-sourced ingredients.
The Deli is offering both a Champagne Breakfast as well as a more casual but flavourful lunch on Mother’s Day
For a group of friends or family, Le Pique Nique with its generous gourmet picnic baskets packed with freshly prepared and wholesome food, and the outdoors setting under the trees is perfect way to spend a relaxed day.
An alternative for a more traditional lunch, is the Rhone Homestead where the cuisine is Cape Heritage and served buffet-style. It’s right next to the Cellar Door Tasting Venue, which makes a wine or bubbly tasting before lunch a wonderful the way to celebrate this special day.
