Join us at our educational and entertaining weekend forage led by avid mushroom hunter Justin Williams as we delve into the forests on Boschendal to learn all about the magical world of mushrooms! Learn how to identify edible mushrooms and how to find them.
Boschendal is offering a special weekend package on the 3 and 4th of June 2017 combining a mushroom workshop and guided forage with overnight accommodation, dinner, breakfast and lunch.
After checking in on Saturday afternoon, enjoy an insightful and informative talk and walk around the farm with Justin, who’se love for mushrooms is infectious. Dinner will be at the Werf Restaurant where you can look forward to a three course farm to table meal prepared by Executive Chef Christiaan Campbell. After breakfast on Sunday morning, join the mushroom forage with Justin to hunt the prized porcini. Once these delightful mushrooms have been collected, a mushroom-themed lunch will be served prepared fresh from our bounty.
