Boschendal Farm is hosting a Yoga & Wellness Retreat with Viktor van der Kleij from 26-28 August. Guests can look forward to an engaging weekend of yoga, healthy food and luxury farm-style accommodation
No matter your level of yoga experience, you’ll discover the power of alignment in a retreat with various sessions designed to strengthen your practice. The sessions will include yoga, breath-work, movements, dialogues, mantras, diet and meditation.
Viktor divides his time between Europe and South Africa where he teaches the art of yoga using his intuitive wisdom and expertise to guide students to a state of inner clarity and peace. He is trained in the Classical Yoga tradition and has extensively studied the traditions of Iyengar, Sivananda and Ashtanga.
In keeping with our focus on balanced, full, vibrant living, guests will also spend time exploring and experiencing Boschendal farm and the food gardens—cultivating a deeper philosophy of nourishing ourselves with invigorating physical activity, nutritious food, and meaningful interactions.
Megan McCarthy, our Food Garden Manager, will introduce guests to the basics of urban food growing and the joy of producing your own food using environmentally sound practices. Megan will also share growing tips and technniques used in our Werf Food Garden.
Christiaan Campbell, our Executive Chef, will share his conscious cooking experience and insight gained while taking guests on a journey covering ethical and conscious cuisine, and he will be preparing nutritious meals using only seasonal produce from the farm.
Combined with luxury farm-style accommodation, a beautiful environment and walks in the fresh country air: a rejuvinating and revitalising weekend awaits guests.
Cost: R2560 per person sharing a room (Twin or King) / R3460 per room per single person. (Please note – Each cottage has 2 rooms)
This includes two nights accommodation; dinner on Friday evening; breakfast, 2 tea breaks, lunch & dinner on Saturday as well as breakfast, 2 tea breaks & lunch on Sunday. All meals are vegan friendly.
