The historic Cape vernacular Manor House dates back to 1812, and is home to our premier wine tasting and pairing experiences.
Join us for wine and food tastings in the recently refurbished Manor House where the history and antiques of the house pair beautifully with the estate’s wines.

Mountain Bike Trails & Rentals
Five marked trails consisting of well-maintained single track, mountainside jeep track and some farm road.
Permits: R50 per day available at the MTB trailer shop next to the Farmshop & Deli
Mountain bike hire: R400 per day from the MTB trailer shop.
A guided tour through the vineyards takes in a viewpoint at the highest point of the farm where you will look upon remarkable vistas and the natural beauty of the farm.

The Boschendal Gardens
Besides the impressive collection of old trees on the farm, Boschendal boasts immaculate award winning gardens that are a haven of serenity and beauty.
The Rose Garden
This internationally acclaimed rose garden, designed by Gwen Fagan, features many of the original roses that were cultivated at the Cape and in the East Indies. Definitely worth a visit.
Boschendal picnics are a Cape legend. During the summer months the Boschendal gardens with their dramatic mountain views provide the perfect setting for a picnic lunch under the trees. Booking 24 hours in advance is essential.
The Werf Restaurant
Situated in the beautifully revamped original cellar of the Manor House, the focus at The Werf Restaurant is on presenting innovative country-style cuisine using the best of available local, seasonal and ethically-sourced ingredients.
Lunch: Wednesday to Sunday 12:00 to 14:30 (Seated by 14:00)
Dinner: Wednesday to Saturday 18:00 to 21:00 (Seated by 20:30)
