This historic building is a national monument ideal for small functions and events.
The homestead building has three rooms which can be hired separately, namely the large central room or Voorkamer and the two smaller rooms called De Villiers and Rhodes. In addition, a small lounge can be used as a break away room.
The two smaller rooms, De Villiers and Rhodes, can accommodate between 14 and 40 people depending on the function style.
The beautiful private garden behind the homestead is also often used for intimate wedding ceremonies. Up to 50 guests can be accommodated in the Homestead, depending on the floor layout.

The Rhone Homestead is also used as a fully catered conference and meeting venue.
The venue hire includes our standard tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glassware and linen but excludes food and beverages, staff, outdoor furniture or marquee.

All of our functions are catered in-house by Executive Chef, Christiaan Campbell and his team.Our farm-to-table menus use only the best quality seasonal ingredients sourced from our fields, gardens and other local suppliers. We raise our own award-winning Black Angus cattle, acorn-fed pigs, free-range chickens and harvest most of our vegetables from the organic Werf Food Garden run by Megan McCarthy.
