This historical building and national monument has been converted into an exclusive venue for small functions and conferences.
The homestead building has three rooms which can be hired separately, namely the large central room or Voorkamer and the two smaller rooms called De Villiers and Rhodes. In addition, a small lounge can be used as a break away room.
The two smaller rooms, De Villiers and Rhodes, can accommodate between 14 and 40 people depending on the function style.

Capacity: The Voorkamer can be used for a sit down banquet for up to 64 guests or a wedding ceremony for 100 guests with the adjoining rooms being suitable for setting up a bar, lounge or dancing area. The two smaller rooms, De Villiers and Rhodes, can accommodate between 14 and 40 people depending on the function style.
The Rhone Homestead is also used as a fully catered conference and meeting venue.

A half-day is considered to be 4 hours and a full day is 8 hours.
The venue hire includes our standard tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glassware and linen but excludes food and beverages, staff, outdoor furniture or marquee.
Overtime: R1000 per hour plus the staff costs listed in the Terms & Conditions.

At Boschendal our focus is on celebrating the bounty of our valley producing fresh food using the best quality seasonal ingredients, grown with consideration for the earth, and sourced from our fields and pasture as well as other local farms.
We have prepared some sample menus for you to get an idea of what you can expect but we will gladly customise these menus should you have any specific preferences or dietary requirements.
The cost of a three-course menu is from R350 per person.
