The Olive Press with its exposed natural poplar roof trusses, floor to ceiling glass doors and stunning views over meadow gardens and Groot Drakenstein Mountains make for a picturesque event.
Up to 200 guests can be seated inside depending on the required layout and excluding a dance floor. A further 50 guests can be seated in the adjoining covered outdoor veranda, weather permitting. To seat over 250 guests a marquee would be required on the lawn (not supplied by venue).
Our 5-star Werf Cottages, located 150 meters from the Olive Press, can sleep up to fourteen adults and eight children. Included in the venue hire; Two Werf Cottages for the night before and all seven Werf Cottages on the night of the event. These include farm breakfast baskets delivered to the cottages and a complimentary wine tasting.

Room sizes & Configuration
The hall covers an area of 340m2 and can be divided into smaller rooms smaller rooms for conferencing and corporate functions if required. These smaller rooms can accommodate between 50 and 100 people.
The sheltered patio is 150m2 in size with the uncovered patio being 175m2

Additional Venue Hire Details
A separate bar area leads onto a deck leading into a grove of poplar trees.
The meadow gardens and grassed bank under the trees are available for use as part of the venue hire.
The venue hire includes tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glassware and linen but excludes food and beverages, staff, outdoor furniture or marquee.
The 7 guest cottages, which are included at an additional cost for events involving amplified music, are within 150 metres of the venue. The cottages can sleep up to 14 adults and 8 children.
All of our functions are catered in-house by Executive Chef, Christiaan Campbell and his team.Our farm-to-table menus use only the best quality seasonal ingredients sourced from our fields, gardens and other local suppliers. We raise our own award-winning Black Angus cattle, acorn-fed pigs, free-range chickens and harvest most of our vegetables from the organic Werf Food Garden run by Megan McCarthy.
