Friday Night Market
04 September 2026 - 30 April 2027
Join us for another season of magical evenings on the Werf, with good food, live music and Boschendal wines. Unwind, connect, and close the week with a memorable evening at the Boschendal Friday Night Market, held every Friday from 17:00 to 21:00.
This season, we’ve introduced a R50 adult entry ticket that includes a Boschendal stemless wine glass to use throughout the evening and take home. Under-18s enter free with a reserved ticket.
*Please note: Our Night Market is a highlight of the season. Due to high demand, walk-in tickets will be subject to capacity limits, so please secure your tickets early to avoid disappointment! Tickets for the market are released one month prior to the event. To keep it fair, there is a limit of 4 free U/18 tickets per email address, and each person attending must have their own ticket for entry to the Night Market.

Christmas Picnics
Werf Lawns
24 & 25 December
Basket Collection from 12h00 – 14h00.
Gather your nearest & dearest beneath the oaks for a long, unhurried Christmas afternoon on the Werf lawns.
With farm-baked breads, seasonal salads and festive treats to unpack, our picnic baskets invite you to linger a bit little longer.
There is a basket for everyone with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and children's picnics available.
To save your place under the oaks, kindly book your picnic at least 24 hours ahead.

Christmas Lunch

We invite you to join us for another generous and memorable Christmas lunch at the Retreat restaurant, where good food and warm farm hospitality set the scene for an afternoon with the people you love.
Celebrate the season with an abundant spread featuring favourites from the fire and slow-cooked potjies, with grilled lamb chops, hot smoked gammon and tiger prawns amongst the highlights.
Don't forget to save a little room for our Christmas trifle jars and freshly baked koeksisters.

New Year's Eve Dinner

Join us for a fun-filled New Year’s Eve at one of Boschendal’s most spectacular venues.
Set against sweeping views of the Groot Drakenstein Mountains, the Olive Press is a beautiful setting for a long summer evening of good food, live music, and dancing to bring in 2027.
The whole family is welcome.
Every booking will have its own table, so if you’re coming with family or friends and would like to sit together, we recommend purchasing your tickets in one booking.
This allows us to group you together at the same table.

Garden Day

This Garden Day, step into the heart of Boschendal’s beautiful Werf Food Garden for an immersive journey into the way we grow, nurture and regenerate our land.
Surrounded by abundant planting, seasonal produce and the beauty of the historic Werf, guests will be invited to explore the garden through five immersive and educational hands-on experiences, each revealing a different part of the story behind what grows here.
Guests will take home a special keepsake from each of the five stations, giving you something tangible to remember your Garden Day experience by, and perhaps even something to inspire your own garden at home.

Food Forest Journey

Step into the Food Forest, a regenerative agroforestry garden and part of Boschendal's ongoing land restoration journey.
This guided walk invites you to experience how plants, soil, and human care come together in a living, productive landscape. Move slowly, engage your senses, and discover how growing in rhythm with nature supports sustainability and food security.
The journey concludes beneath the Old Oak Tree with refreshments and a small gift from the land.
