William Vaesen, owner of The Boutique Gallery in Franschhoek will be launching his art installations in the Werf gardens.

The Boutique Gallery will also have a small-scale gallery at the Boschendal Gift Shop where visitors will be able to buy smaller art pieces from South African artists.

The first sculpture garden is curated by Gordon Froud, a South African artist, curator and lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. Froud is a celebrated artist with most of his work showcased in hundreds of exhibitions throughout South Africa and the world.  He is best known for his use of found and untraditional materials in his sculptures. He attempts to explore the human condition in his work, particularly with regards to DNA, babies, genetics, bacteria, viruses and self – portraits.

Now art lovers can have a chance to enjoy unique art pieces while having a meal with the family. The Boutique Gallery aims to continue supporting local artists and making art more accessible through this partnership with Boschendal Wine Estate.

The first sculpture garden from The Boutique Gallery @ Boschendal will open on the 2nd of April until mid-July.
