Calling all green thumbs and garden lovers!
Our new 2 ha bio-friendly food garden, located in front of the Werf Restaurant, will be open to the public from the last weekend in October. Seasonal produce grown in the Werf Food Garden will be on sale from early November in the Boschendal Farmshop & Deli.
To celebrate the opening of the garden we are offering four garden tours, two on the 31st of October and two on the 1st of November, led by our bio-friendly horticulturist Megan McCarthy.
Spend time learning some secrets about farming the natural way. We’ll talk about nutrition , rotation, plant companions, insectaries and many other methods for growing vigorous crops without the need for harmful chemicals and sprays.
Anyone interested in growing their own herbs, veggies or fruit will love spending time in this environmentally sensitive space, and can benefit from Megan’s wide knowledge and passion for her craft.
Limited spaces are available so book soon.
