Bertha's Retreat is a collection of eighteen two-bedroom cottages situated in a far corner of the farm with exquisite mountain views.

This secluded venue has a carefree and relaxed atmosphere and is ideal for families or groups of friends. The cottages are about 3,5 km from the main werf, guests are advised to have their own transport. Bring your mountain bike or walking shoes to explore the farm paths, mountainside trails and single track.

If you are traveling with children take a look at our edu play centre - The Tree House, where free range kids learn all about farm life. The fully supervised daily programme is available complimentary for accommodation guests aged 4 - 14yrs.

The venue has a state of the art indoor screening room, dining room & lounge and a variety of meeting rooms making it an ideal space for conferences, team building and strategic executive breakaways.
